sometimes the path is very clear
and sometimes it’s just not
and though sometimes we wish it different
it is the one we’ve got.
what we must do is walk our path
when bumpy and when smooth
when directional changes come to rise
we’ve got to keep our cool.
there is one thing that must be done
in order for us to grow
with each and every step that’s taken
