I love the feeling of brushing paint onto paper; I lack the skill to actually translate those strokes into discernable objects and landscapes, which makes me so admire the work of those who possess that talent. Every so often, I bring out my watercolors or acrylics just for the feel and smell connected to the process of creating with paint, something truly missed when I turn photographs like these two into something that looks like it was painted.
I am open to taking a class at some point though more than likely, I will dabble with the editing tools for my photos and continue to appreciate (and buy) the work of those who, with every stroke, bring forth something beautiful to look at, so…
