As the bus drivers drove the Egyptian roads each morning, afternoon and evening, taking pictures of still objects was just as difficult as trying to catch a good photo of subjects that were in motion. I did manage to capture buildings, signs and various structures and when we were rolling through Alexandria, I was hell bent to get one good frame of this one particular type of street sign at the corner of each block; alas I finally had to give it up after more than 30 unsuccessful attempts!
So here’s a selection of scenes on the other side of the glass as we passed going so fast that it became a crap shoot to see how many pictures were in actually in focus…
And then there were those moments when nothing was moving...except my finger squeezing the button!
